The Lepas L6 EV is the all-electric version of Lepas's midsize SUV, and pre-orders are now open at Lepas Midrand. With 160 kW of power, a claimed WLTC range of up to 450 km and DC fast charging as standard, it brings the L6's sharp design and generous specification to drivers ready to go electric.
Pre-order through Lepas Midrand today and qualify for the launch package: a 7 kW home charger with full standard installation, a V2L adaptor, a Type M charging cable and an R5,000 charge voucher and card. The offer is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

First stock is expected at Lepas Midrand in November 2026. Our team will walk you through the L6 EV, the charging package, finance through WesBank and other participating banks, and your trade-in. We're one of the first Lepas dealerships in the country, and our Randjespark showroom is easy to reach from the N1, Centurion, Sandton, Fourways and Pretoria.
A single front-mounted electric motor drives the front wheels, producing 160 kW and 275 N·m. Lepas quotes a WLTC range of up to 450 km on a full charge. For most Gauteng commuters, that means charging once or twice a week rather than every day. Choose between Eco, Normal and Sport driving modes, and stop with confidence thanks to the Bosch IPB 2.0 integrated brake system.
The L6 EV uses a 65.05 kWh battery with liquid cooling and liquid heating, which helps keep charging performance and range consistent through Highveld winters and summer heat. It charges through a CCS Type 2 connector, at up to 6.6 kW on AC, with DC fast charging as standard. A portable Type 2 charger is included.

Driver-assistance systems include Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
Lepas South Africa has not yet announced pricing for the L6 EV. Pricing and final specifications will be confirmed closer to launch, and pre-order customers hear first. If final pricing isn't provided within six months of your pre-order, you may cancel and receive a full refund, as set out in the pre-order agreement.

Both share the L6's midsize SUV body, design and cabin quality. The petrol L6 is available to buy and drive today in Javan and Pantera derivatives, from R469 900, and suits buyers who cover long distances without access to charging. The L6 EV is the choice if you can charge at home or work: instant electric torque, quiet driving, lower running costs per kilometre and, if you pre-order now, a home charger installed at no extra cost.

Most L6 EV owners will do the bulk of their charging at home overnight. The included 7 kW home charger pairs with the car's 6.6 kW onboard charger, so empty to full takes roughly 10 hours. Plug in in the evening and leave with a full battery in the morning.
On longer trips, DC fast charging is standard, and the R5,000 charge voucher and card covers your first public charging sessions. With V2L, the L6 EV can also power appliances, tools or camping equipment straight from its battery — useful during load-shedding or off-grid.
